The value you get from being a member of our community and your ability to get your questions answered fast is very important to all of us at here at Ipswitch.
To that end, we have started work on updating and improving the community and support experience. As we go through the update process, we will keep you informed at each step.
- One stop for support and community - No longer will you have multiple places to access our community and support resources. We are combining and simplifying the two Customer Portals, public Knowledge Bases, and the Ipswitch Community together.
The Ipswitch community will be your one stop anytime you have a question, need help, or want to share ideas with the community.
- Identity - We will have one login for the Ipswitch Community. No longer will you have to remember different passwords for the Customer Portals and Ipswitch Community.
IMPORTANT: If you only have a community login today and do not have a login for one of our Customer Portals (WhatsUp Gold or File Transfer) look for an email soon telling you how to create an account before the update. Or you can just go to one of the portal and create an account using the same email as your community account.
- Search – One thing we have hear loud and clear from you is we need better search. There is lots of great content (e.g., Knowledge Base, training, online help/documentation, and community), but you can’t get to from one place and the search relevancy often does not meet your expectations.
We will be improving the search experience with this update and plan to address these needs.
The update will be in early Q4 this year. We will announce the date shortly.
