Yes this is really agood idea. I'm facing the same issue.

We should have the same kind of management as for the users groups.

Being able to design dashboards and affect them to groups which contains users, with rights so users won't be able to personalize some "fix" dashboards.

I could really use this right now....

additionally it would be great to be able to change the dashboard and copy it to the usergroup and overwrite all settings without having to change the dashboard name.

Not only copying the views but have the possibility to create Templates.

As soon as a User from an LDAP / AD group logs on for the first time, he/she will get a predefind set of views

I had a default user and I required all dashboard views to be accessed/viewed by everyone in a specific AD team to see. You have to run the script for each user.

Within the Wug DB I had to identify the default user. table webuser, nWebuserid = (nr)

Then run an insert script on the workspace table and this did reflect the required dashboards to each user. I will post the script in the correct section,
