Performance monitor alert threshold does not send alert
Custom performance monitor active script is graphing Context.SetValue 1 when a test criteria is met. The Custom performance monitor threshold is configured to send an alert when the custom performance monitor average value exceeds zero for more than 1 minute.
Viewing the performance monitor graph it can be seen the graph level is equal to 1 and value zero has been exceeded. For some reason the alert is not being sent. What is causing the threshold not to send an alert?
Attached are snap shots of the configuration.

Hello Scott,
It does look like you have things setup correctly. Have you tested that the alert works as expected? Have you looked in the 'Performance Monitor Error Log' the 'General Error Log' or the 'Action Log'?
Shaun
Scott,
Would you add a screen shot of the custom performance monitor report showing that the device has indeed exceeded the threshold?
Jason,
Attached is a screen shot of the graphed output for the performance monitor and snap shot of the wug cpu utilization.
Shuan asked if I have tested? answer: Yes, the performance monitor has been tested. Reviewing "Performance Error Log" and "General Error Log" no entries due to performance monitor.
Thought well lets test performance alerts. So, I configured CPU monitor to alert when CPU utilization on wug server is greater than 10%. CPU utilization on wug server is always greater than 10%, no alerts sent from threshold trigger. Threshold alert configured identical to previous post above. The Action Library configured email works for wug alerts.
No email notifications are being sent for active performance monitor I created or the CPU utilization performance monitor. So what is the problem?

Try unchecking the "Automatically Resolve Items no Longer Out of Threshold". I have similar issues with the Alerting Center being inconsistent or not alerting.
Scott,
If you look at the Alert Center dashboard view, do the threshold reports show that there are devices out of threshold? Trying to narrow down the issue here.
Jason,
Thank you for your time.
It helps if the alert center services is running. I found alert center service off. I did not know there was an on off soft button for this service. I made sure the alert service on the wug server is set to start automatically upon reboot.
You guys are great ! ! !
Scott
