Thanks so much, I have the OID description, but the problem is that when I wanna fill the the relevant blank field in monitoring page, the field is not active and i cannot enter the OID, I worked with OPManager bit I found it's alarm notification so poor, so I choose WUG, but it didn't work.

I go to Admin Tab, then performance monitoring, what about after? I would appreciate if you please explain it to me step by step

Then you should select SNMP Performance Monitor

 I have the MIB file for poseidon, I didn't use it before, when I was working with OPmanager there was no need to work with MIB file, I don't what is actually and how does it work.

@Zahra - you don't need the MIB file to monitor the device.  Once you have configured the monitor, you need to make sure that you apply it to the devices that you wish to monitor.

That error message typically means wrong community string.  I would recommend using the SNMP MIB Walker tool to verify that you can successfully communicate with the target device via SNMP, before you go any further with the monitor.

I set the credential in my device and choose a same name for both of community even in device and WUG, but nothing happened, WUG knows my device and when I check the status with the Ping command, everything is ok.

so what now? is there any other solution for this problem?

Ping requests don't require SNMP credentials, so it doesn't surprise me that Ping checks work.  I am confident that the issue here is with the SNMP configuration on the target machine.  Again, please try using the SNMP MIB Walker tool to attempt communicating with the target device using SNMP.  If that doesn't work, you will need to verify the configuration of SNMP on that machine.

In the next step I started to define threshold for my monitors, according to user guide everything is ok but there is no alarm or report when the value exceeded the threshold value,

I'm sure it's because of my misunderstanding about the steps for configuration,

if you are talking about Alert Center, you can edit the required Threshold and add the required Notification Policy (Email and SMS Direct actions only).

Dear Ahmed I configured threshold library and define threshold for my monitors, but when the value goes beyond deined limit, no report is created.  I want to creat reports and alarms when this happens.

for example: Disk Utilization exceeds XX% for 30 Min

my custome monitor is temperature and it's always aound 30 C, I define the time 10 minutes and 20 for threshold. is it correct that in threshold dialoge I select global monitor and from select device tab I choose my poseidon? if this is correct I don't know what else I can do

I think that you are choosing the wrong monitors...

Can you check the monitors from upper part in Performance monitors and untick the lower part monitors...

Or

keeping all device settings as the same and choose Device Specific Monitors from your threshold

I went to Home->Top10 and add costume monitore, but when I wanna configure this window,  an error dialoge box which says:

Server Error in '/NmConsole' Application.

and another question : can I define a sound alarm for this threshold violation? I went to action library and define some sound action, then go to the device page and assign this new action to the device, but in a change state dialoge box, which one I must choose?

You have 2 ways to configure Custom Performance Monitors

From your screenshot, I find the following:

1. You created and selected Individual Performance Monitors
2. You select Global Monitors (Which aren't selected from Device properties) while creating the Threshold

Now if I wanna define alarm sound or another action for this situation, what shuold I do? I used action library and created some action, when I wanted to assign this to my device, it was just on down or up status of my device that this action would perform, what if I want the sound on my threshold violation?
