What We're About

Our Motto: Provide meaningful technical information for network engineers, IT managers, architects and system administrators--whether you're a WhatsUp Gold user or not.

WUGspace exists solely for your benefit. It's an IT community powered by the WhatsUp Gold team where you can ask questions, voice your opinion, share knowledge and find meaningful solutions in order to optimize your infrastructure. WUGspace allows you to keep up with IT trends by connecting with other IT professionals like yourself--see what your peers are doing, and benefit from shared scripts and best practice recommendations.

Resource Center:

Find the information you need, when you need it. Browse the Resource Center for behind-the-scenes tips and tricks, how-tos from the WhatsUp Guru, network management Best Practices information, relevant news articles, and much more.

Events Calendar:

Keep up-to-date with what's happening and see when the latest best practice webinars are scheduled to take place. WUGspace members also benefit from exclusive access to contests, surveys, and product testing.

IT Forums:

Get answers to your questions and discuss the topics that are most important to you in our IT forums. Connect with other IT professionals and compare network monitoring strategies.

Script Library:

Flip through the Script Library to see how other WhatsUp Gold users have customized their network monitoring software, and share the scripts that help you use WUG in cool ways, every day.

Product Ideas:

Have a great idea for  a new WhatsUp Gold feature or enhancement? Product Management wants to hear your feedback and requests for upcoming releases. You can even rate other members' ideas and comment on the ones you like best.

Gold Club:

Join our VIP club! If you're interested in shaping the WhatsUp Gold product roadmap and letting product development hear your voice, the Gold Club is for you. Give the WhatsUp Gold team regular feedback on product line development and receive product discount.

Where We Want to Go

We've just launched our new platform, and we're excited to see WUGspace grow. By contributing your experiences, recommendations, tips, and opinions, we can make the community a valuable resource to you. In April, look for a new points and reward system that allows you to accumulate points and build your reputation through active community participation. Who We Are

Your WUGspace community team dedicates itself to improving and enhancing your user experience. We've assembled a top-notch community team to ensure that you can find the information you need as easily as possible. Our goal is to make the information you find here as current, relevant and valuable as possible.

Jason Williams  Jason Williams: The WhatsUp Guru

As the Community Manager, Jason works with both the PMM and Product Management teams in his connections to the WhatsUp Gold customer base.  He's a New England transplant who now resides in Georgia and works in our Atlanta office. On his position within Ipswitch, Jason commented, "One of my favorite parts of this job is interacting with customers. I like hearing about what their day-to-day pain points are as network admins and how they are using the product to help with that. Translating those conversations to Product Management makes me feel like I can make a difference with our software." He also operates his own mobile DJ company and is an avid pool player.

Ryan Arsenault Ryan Arsenault

Ryan joins us from TechTarget as our Community and Product Marketing Management Specialist in the Lexington, MA, office. He will be working hard to plan and create a wealth of content for our WUGspace community. In addition to the day-to-day operations of the site, Ryan will be involved in community outreach initatives, contests and planning content for Ipswitch product launches. He is an avid Pearl Jam and Red Sox fan and enjoys spending quality time with his girlfriend and dog.

Immi  Immi Pfennig

Immi works in the Atlanta office. As Community Specialist, she is in charge of the Points and Rewards program. She also ensures you have access to the proper WUGspace groups and helps maintain WUGspace in general. Immi is from Germany and enjoys the fact that WUGspace has members worldwide. Outside of work, Immi spends most of her time with her husband and two daughters.
